UM OLHAR SOBRE O HOMEM E O MEIO NO POEMA “O HOMEM DE LATA” DE MANOEL DE BARROS

RESUMO

A relação entre homem e natureza é vista, na maioria das vezes, como pura e imaculada na poesia de Manoel de Barros. Em contraponto, observamos a figura do homem moderno, que perde de vista sua sensibilidade e engrandece os engenhos capitais, alojando assim, as práticas capitalistas no meio em que vive. Por isso, buscamos entender através deste estudo, não apenas a natureza ambiental, mas também a humana, englobando as características do eu lírico e sua composição no poema “O Homem de Lata” inserido em Gramática expositiva do chão (1966), bem como a relação desse sujeito com a natureza externa e com o seu semelh ante. Ao fim do estudo compreendemos a importância da relação entre homem e meio, estabelecendo perigos e cuidados no que diz respeito ao meio ambiente.

ABSTRACT

The relation between man and nature is seen, most of the time, as pure and immaculate in the poetry of Manoel de Barros. As counterpoint, is observed the figure of the modern man, that loses sight of its sensibility and magnifies capital devices, thus housing the capitalist practices in the environment it lives in. Therefore, we seek to understand through this study not only the environmental nature, but also human’s, encompassing the characteristics of the lyrical I and its composition in the poem “O Homem de Lata”, inserted in Gramática Expositiva do Chão (1966), as also the relation between this individual with the external nature and its neighbor. At the end of the study, Is comprehended the importance of the relation between man and environment, establishing dangers and cautions regarding the environment.
